Contraindications

As with all treatments there are times when you should exercise caution when using equine kinesiology tape or massaging a horses. If in any doubt, consult a vet, especially if the horse is recovering from an injury or illness.

· Open wounds.

· Infection

· Infected areas.

· Dermatological conditions.

· Cancer/tumours.

· Colic.

· Pregnancy.

· Horse is unwell and the cause is not known.

· Fever.

· If heat is present in the area of taping
